Peeps's 1st BIRTHDAY is TODAY!!!!!

She is a model at the mall now.. The people who took her pics put them up on the wall as display! But no.. I didn't get any free pics!!! Can you believe it? She had so much fun taking her pics she didn't want to leave!

Piano Lessons

Poops is so excited I am taking her to her first piano lesson today after she has the opportunity to meet her new 2nd grade teachers. She told me yesterday that today would be a good day. I am letting her wear one of her new outfits that we bought from school shopping so she is even more excited.

I take Peeps to a free gymboree class tomorrow morning... got a coupon in the mail so I hope she likes that. Then tomorrow evening I am going to my first Yoga session.. its a free one offered by the studio to see how I like it. The guy said it is a stress relief class and I will have to yell during the first part of the class..he said I might not like that one for my first experience ...I said..are you kidding me???? I am an expert yeller! LOL.. so tomorrow off I go to have my first YOGA class.

My friend is moving back to VA from Michigan but she is moving to the VA BEACH area so I won't get to see her everyday although it will allow us a lot more opportunities to spend together than before. We grew up together and have always stayed in touch since she moved away. Our daughters are the same age so Poops will be thrilled to have a new person in her large circle of family and friends.

Well, off to take a shower.. while Peeps naps.. I will post of picture of Poops at her first piano lesson as soon as I can. CYA

She walks soo good....and then I put a pair of Target shoes on her.. nope.. she wouldn't walk in them.. so I went and got a pair of Stride Rite.. she can't even tell she is wearing shoes! She runs all around!


Poops wants to take piano lessons and I have decided to try Yoga lessons so we are off to get some prices. BYE!

Peeps is 10 months old now! What have I been up to.. lets see..

Well, this past week I was home alone with the girls because O was off in CT training for his new promotion. We stayed busy going to the pool and fufilling play dates. I was going to leave Peeps for once in her life while he was gone but changed my mind. I can't bear to leave her yet.. it's too scary. :-(

I started painting the kitchen cabinets white...and then I realized what I got myself in to! It's sooo much work! But I am determined to finish. First you have to clean with TSP, then sand down and wipe with a TACK cloth..then primer 2 coats and I haven't even gotten to the painting part yet! And I am only on the first cabinet..since I have to do it when Peeps is asleep which isn't often. Hopefully the end product will pay off..and if not.. then I will open a HOME DEPOT account and just get them to install brand new ones. :-)

P.S. I am sanding by hand! My dad said he will bring my an electric sander soon so that is good news.. oh yea.. and I had put the house up on the market but changed my mind. I am going to wait until it's necessary to move and not move out of want because I really don't want our mortgage to go up now that we will be paying about 1300 a month for day care once I go back to work. :-(


Oh YEA and by the way.. PEEPS started walking right before she turned 10 months! She is an early walker at 9 months walking but it's the cutest thing!

HOME AT LAST!

I am so happy to be home..and to come home to a nice clean house is the nicest feeling! We went to pick up Scrappy but my sis-in-law who was watching him for me wasn't home and Poops was crying. She will have to wait until tomorrow to see him and actually went to bed early in anticapitation of seeing Scrappy tomorrow. :-)
Peeps did very well at the beach..she went to everyone and let me read two whole novels while she played with her grandparents, father, cousin, and uncle. Whew.. I got to breathe so it was a nice vacation. At first she did not like the sand but when given the opportunity to sit on a towel and play in it with her hands..not her whole body..she warmed up to the idea of sifting it through her tiny fingers.
Poops had a ball..we actually got to spend some mommy daughter time together when I took her to Splash Mountain Water park and we went on all the rides. The funniest part was when we first got there we were so excited we just got in the first line we saw and it ended up being the STEALTH slide! OMG.. if you didn't know I am attaching a photo of it. It was quite a way to start off our day at the park! I thought we were going on a tube or something cutesy..but this thing was straight down.. it is soooo scary! You totally feel like you are going to fall out and die right there. But after that ride..none of the others were so intimidating. By the way, Poops wanted to keep going on that one..over and over again..but not me so much. I gained about 7lbs at the beach..who thought of buffets anyways? Oh well... :-) Here are some pics of our vacation.

We are going to Ocean City for the week and are leaving tomorrow morning. It's been busy trying to get the house all tidied up and everyone packed up for the trip. Poops left this morning with the grandparents so she's already soaking up the rays. The traffic was horrible for them so I assume it will only be worse for us tomorrow. I have to borrow my dad's brand new car because my check engine light keeps coming on and he is going to have it repaired while I am out of town...how sweet is he? He has barely had a chance to drive around his car when he ups and offers up his own as soon as he hears distress in my voice regarding my own vehicle. He is such a sweet dad! Well, off to finish packing! Happy 4th!

Well, its JUNE

School is almost over for Poops and I am so excited I get to spend this whole summer with her.. then back to work for me. :-( I am starting to wonder how Peeps is going to do since she won't let me out of her sight for a moment and it gets worse when someone else is around. Then she gets really insecure and reaches for me. AHHH.. what am I going to do? Even my friends baby wants me all the time.. I think it's cause I look like an angel. LOL.. that's what O says.. cause my pale white skin and yellow hair.. it's like I am so shiny they just want me. What was cute when my friends baby called me mama and was crying for me when her mommy took her out of my arms. LOL.. It's my aura! Here's some recent pics.

Happy 8 months Birthday Peeps!

Peeps turned 8 months today! She bit me really hard today ... on the arm. I have a bruise from those really sharp teeth of hers. There are only 2 teeth on the bottom and a bit of one on the top but they are SO SHARP! Anyways, today was pretty boring...went to lunch with my sis-in-law and then to the bookstore with Poops and Peeps. I had to get a slice of the Cheesecake Factory Banana Foster Cheesecake from there cause it is TO DIE FOR.

Well.. just a quick update

Soccer was cancelled today due to rain rain..all day.. but its ok because we really needed it. Poops is having a mothers day thing tomorrow at school so I get to go to her school and get a surpsise.
Peeps has two bottom teeth.. she crawls everywhere and pulls herself up onto everything. Omg.. she really drives me crazy.. truly.. I finally took her into my work today so all could see her and ..(yes I know she is already 7 months old). The consensous is that she looks like Poops..how funny is that? Peeps has tanned so dramatically in the past month.. she is closer to O's skin color than ever and makes me look like Casper the friendly ghost.
Poops is more excited about Mother's Day than me. I don't know why but I am not so excited this year. I have had this headache for the past week that won't go away and keeps getting worse. I have been taking Tylenol for it but it doesn't even make a dent in it. I can actually feel the headache in my sleep...
Well, just an update for my pal Kristi because I think she is the only one in the world who reads this thing. :-)

Spring Break is over.. :-(

Well, Poops certainly enjoyed her Spring Break. And I enjoyed sleeping in ...even Peeps got to sleep in and we all loved it. I almost can't wait for summer so I can sleep in again...although the dog days of summer here are so hard to deal with. It gets so hot you can't breathe. I gotta hurry up and buy our memberships to the pool for the summer. I don't know when I will get another summer off with the girls so I want to make this one as memorable for Poops as I can.
We went to Great Falls Park for the first time and Poops enjoyed climbing on the rocks. Peeps loved being in the sand.
Peeps got her first tooth the day before Easter. It just popped out and I knew something was wrong the day before because she was soooo cranky. I am glad that it's over and her tooth is finally here. She crawled for the first time yesterday and we were so excited. I went to get the video camera and when I wanted to tape it she just sat there crying for me to come and give her the camera! UGH! Oh well..
My dad is supposed to come and pour the concrete tomorrow so hopefully that will go well and we can utilize our back yard.
Well, there are just too many things going on right now so I gotta go!

A day with the kids and Kristi

Well, I finally got to see Sammy.. wow! He is so grown now and can talk and is so sweet! Poops told me he is so cute and she can't wait for Peeps to be that size. Little KayKay was so cute...her and Peeps were baby talking but most of the time KayKay decided to nap.

Lets see...the funniest part of the day.. of should we say possibly the year.. I turn around and lo and behold! I see Sammy .. pants dropped to the ground.. right by the park bench.. taking a WHIZ! LOL.. it was sooooooooooo funny! I see what I am missing out on not having a boy of my own! LOL.. I was going to take a picture then I thought..well maybe not.. it could've been perceived as a little weird when I go to get it developed so I decided not to. It was so funny because he was so casual about it. Then Matthew had to go potty from all those bottles of water he drank and Kristi sent him over to the tree. Poops followed and watched and she was scolded when she got home. She said that she didn't see what the big deal was because she had already seen him pee once before. LOL

Finally!

Ok..hmm..I just got our taxes filed from 2004 and 2005! Looks as if I will have enough money to stay home until Peeps's 1 year old as planned. I am so happy! YAY!
Monday Poops had an infection on an old cavity that had a silver cap over it and it was infected because the new tooth was trying to come in but because of the cap it couldn't and caused an infection. So, needless to say they pulled it, popped the infection bubble, and sent her home with a dose of antibiotics. Since she had a bad headache..could've been cause of the tooth, I let her stay home Monday..then that night she went to her swim class..Tuesday she went to school and the clinic called an hour before school was to let out so..I went to get her..then Wednesday she still felt bad with a headache and temp of 99.1 so I let her stay home.. Today she is back to normal and I got my taxes done. The tax guy has a little farm and has a horse so Peeps got to pet the horse. We fed him some hay/grass and she cried when I put her back in the car..
Nothing else is new I guess.. I am just so relieved that I finally got our taxes done. Whew!
Oh yea, when I took Poops to swim class I also took Peeps swimming. She loves the water! She kept trying to drink it though! LOL.. So cute!
