SOCCER CHAMPION

Well, Poops was playing her soccer game today and she had a bad fall...she fell on her finger and cried through a full quarter of the game. We wrapped it up (luckily O had some bandage wrapping in his car) and we asked her if she wanted to go to the ER or try to play...she said I want to play as she wiped back her tears. WELL PLAY SHE DID!!! The girl scored 2 GOALS with a hurt finger...sooooooooooooooooo after the game we take off the bandage and see that its VERY swollen..and we rush her to the ER...well so much for rushing because the receptionist says..its about a 3-4 hour wait. I say, well we will wait because her finger is very swollen..and wait we did... but we were in and out in 3 and 1/2 hours..so not so bad. As soon as the doc saw her finger he said it appears to be broken....they took the X-Ray and sure enough..there is a hairline fracture..a small break.. what a trooper my girl is..a true soccer champion..scoring 2 goals with a broken finger. The nurse brought out HOT PINK bandage wrapping for her splint and I said well she is a bit of a tomboy and the nurse asked Poops if she'd like her to change it and Poops said "You don't have to."...so even though this girl DESPISES anything pink..she didn't want to make the nurses job harder..SO SHE IS A BIG SWEETIE too! :-) That's my girl..
And, Peeps..lets see..Peeps tore down the phone off the wall in our room, jumped on the bed a million times, and said sorry when she accidentaly touched her sister's boo boo. Overall, she did very well and I am proud of her too.

P.S. Poops actually fell on her hand again while we were in the waiting room...she was sitting in the chair wrong and fell right over on her face and bad hand...I tried not to laugh but it was REALLY funny...poor Poops.. :-/
